Student Statistics
The total number of students at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral levels rose to 28,476. This is 518 more than the previous year, meaning student numbers reached a new high. Most of this increase is due to rising numbers of students in the fields of medicine (+202) and natural sciences (+113), as well as the computer science subjects located at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics. The total includes all 872 students enrolled in the teaching diploma program, not just the 594 who enrolled in the teaching diploma program after completing their Master's degree. Only first teaching subjects were included in the count.
