Student Statistics

Record Number of Students

The total number of students at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral levels rose to 28,476. This is 518 more than the previous year, meaning student numbers reached a new high. Most of this increase is due to rising numbers of students in the fields of medicine (+202) and natural sciences (+113), as well as the computer science subjects located at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics. You can find more of UZH’s student figures in our interactive diagrams.
