UZH in Numbers

Students Statistics

Student Numbers Remain High

The number of students in our Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programs rose slightly compared to the previous year to 27,958 (+63), with the Faculty of Science experiencing the largest growth (+169). Explore more of UZH’s student figures in our interactive diagrams.

Staff Numbers Increase Slightly

Employee and teaching staff numbers are slightly up compared to 2022. The percentage of female staff (56.9%) experienced another slight increase, while the share of female professors climbed by 0.6 percentage points to 29.3%. Explore more of UZH’s staff figures in our interactive diagrams.

Annual financial statements
